Enable payment methods in your store | UAE

Payment methods are one of the most essential factors in the success of any online store, as they help you provide a smooth and secure checkout experience for your customers.

In this guide, you will learn how to manage electronic payments, activate the Tap payment gateway, enable digital wallets, add installment payment options, and configure checkout settings for your UAE store.

Payment methods page

To access payment settings:

1. From the main menu, open the All tab.
2. Under Settings & Tools, click Payment Methods.

The payment methods page includes several key sections, explained below.

1. Store verification

Note: Completing store verification is a mandatory requirement to activate the Tap payment gateway and enable electronic payment methods in the UAE.

2. Activating the Tap Payment Gateway

Once your store verification is completed, the Tap payment gateway will be activated automatically.

To confirm activation:

1. Click Activate next to Tap Payments.

2. Under the Integration & Settings tab, the Merchant ID will be added automatically after verification.
3. Review the sales policy, then click Agree and Save.

✅ Tap Payments have now been activated successfully.

3. Selecting enabled payment options

To choose which payment methods customers can use at checkout:

1. Click Enabled Payment Methods.

2. Select the payment options you want to display in your store.
3. Click Save.

Note: Once Tap Payments are activated, Apple Pay will be enabled automatically.

4. Digital wallets

Salla also supports several digital wallet payment options such as PayPal.

To activate a wallet:

1. Click Activate next to the wallet provider.
2. Enter the required information.

5. Buy Now, Pay Later methods

You can also offer installment payment services such as:

• Tabby
• Tamara

Simply click Activate to enable any available BNPL option for your customers.

6. Checkout page settings

Salla provides several settings to improve customer checkout experience:

1. Auto-fill customer information

Enable automatic selection of the delivery address and shipping company based on the customer’s last purchase.

This will appear to customers during checkout.

2. Guest checkout

Allow customers to complete purchases as a guest without logging in.

This option will appear on the checkout page.

3. Company checkout option

Enable customers to purchase as a company by entering business details during checkout.

This option will also appear during payment.
