What is PayPal?
PayPal is a global digital payment method that allows your customers to pay securely using their PayPal accounts.
It supports multiple currencies and is one of the easiest and safest ways to receive online payments internationally.
Steps to connect PayPal
Step 1: Create a PayPal account
If you do not already have a PayPal account, you must create one first:
- Go to the PayPal homepage and click Sign Up for Free.

2. Choose your account type, then complete the required registration details.

Step 2: Activate PayPal in your store
- From the main menu, open the All tab.
Under Settings & Tools, click Payment Methods.

2. In the Digital Wallets section, find PayPal, then click Activate.

3. Under the Integration & Settings tab, enter the email address linked to your PayPal account.
4. Click Save.

Once activated, PayPal will appear as a payment option on the checkout page.

Note: Payment methods such as Mada, Visa, and Google Pay are currently available only for stores in Saudi Arabia.

What is the minimum payout amount for merchants?
The minimum total amount that can be transferred to the merchant is: SAR/AED 100
What happens if the total amount is less than SAR/AED 100?
If the total payout amount is below SAR/AED 100, it will not be transferred immediately.
Instead, the amount will remain in the merchant’s balance until the minimum threshold is reached.
Can merchants still transfer small amounts to the wallet?
Yes. Merchants can still transfer smaller balances into their wallet and use or withdraw them whenever needed.
