What is Google Merchant Center?
Google Merchant Center is where you provide information about your business and products to shoppers across all of Google's platforms. That information then appears to customers whenever they search for something on Google.
Google Merchant Center works as a companion tool to Google Ads.
Why use Google Merchant Center?
1. It is your gateway to advertising products through Google Shopping.
2. It stores the core product information needed to create product ads and serve them to potential customers.
3. It makes your products eligible to appear on Google Shopping.
How do my products appear on Google?
Once your product information is enabled across Google platforms โ Shopping ads, Shopping Actions, local inventory ads, and other available programs โ users can see your store's items throughout Google, including both sponsored and unpaid results on Google Search and Google Images.
๐ก Example: When someone searches Google for "Chanel perfume", the first results come from Shopping ads and Google Search. The user can click any of them to go straight to the product page on the store.
