What is RedBox?
RedBox is a fast, economy shipping provider available through Salla discounted shipping labels, operating on a smart locker delivery model.
The process works as follows:
- The merchant hands the shipment to a RedBox courier or deposits it directly into a nearby smart locker
- The shipment is then transferred to the locker location selected by the customer
- Once the shipment arrives, the customer receives a pickup code and collects the order from the locker at their convenience
This approach ensures flexible delivery, reduced delivery attempts, and faster fulfillment.
Note: RedBox integration is currently available only for stores in Saudi Arabia.
How to integrate RedBox
Follow these steps to activate RedBox in your store:
- From the main menu, click All
- Select Shipping

3. Open the Shipping & Delivery tab

4. Enable RedBox

5. From the Overview tab, enter the display name and required information, then click Save

RedBox will now be available as a shipping option in your store.

The merchant shipping cost is SAR 14.95, VAT included.
How do I configure shipping pricing for RedBox?
From the Shipping Pricing tab, enter the shipping fees as required.

How can I enable cash on delivery?

- Configure shipping prices for the required cities and regions
- Enable Cash on Delivery

RedBox cash on delivery fee is 2.5% of the transaction value, excluding VAT.
You may adjust the COD fee charged to customers:
- If you charge more than RedBox’s fee, the difference is added to your wallet as profit
- If you charge less, the difference will be deducted from your wallet balance
When are cash on delivery amounts transferred to the merchant?
COD amounts are transferred twice per week:
- Transfers occur on Sunday and Wednesday
- Funds reach the merchant on Monday and Thursday

How is the order delivered to the customer?
The merchant deposits the shipment in the nearest RedBox locker. A RedBox courier then transfers it to the locker selected by the customer.
Is refrigerated shipping supported?
No. RedBox currently supports dry (non-refrigerated) shipping only.

What happens if the customer does not select a locker location?
The shipment is stored in a RedBox facility for 24 hours. If the customer does not select a locker, RedBox will contact the merchant.
Are packaging materials provided?
No. Packaging materials are not currently provided by RedBox.
Is there compensation for damaged shipments?
Yes. The maximum compensation provided by RedBox is USD 100.
Can customers view RedBox locker locations?
Yes. Once the shipping label is issued, the customer receives a message with the nearest available locker location.
How can I disable RedBox temporarily?
From the shipping provider settings page, under Shipping & Delivery Options, enable or disable Hide shipping company from checkout.
