Subscribing to Salla App Maker
- From the main menu, go to Store & Sales Channels, then select Mobile App.
2. On the App Maker page, choose your subscription type (Monthly or Annual), then click Subscribe Now.
3. A subscription window will appear with two steps:

Step two: Payment
Subscription type 1: I already have developer accounts
This option is designed for merchants who already own company developer accounts. Your existing accounts will be used to publish your store app on the Apple App Store and Google Play.

Subscription type 2: I don’t have developer accounts
This option is ideal if you don’t yet have developer accounts. In this case, Salla’s team will collaborate with you to create and set up the required company accounts, then publish your app on both stores.

- One-time setup fee of SAR/AED X (covers account creation and app setup by Salla)
- Setup fee does not include Apple ($99/year) or Google ($25 one-time) developer fees, which are charged separately by the platforms
- App publishing typically takes 2–4 weeks, depending on data accuracy and cooperation during setup
Requirements
- A business email matching your domain (e.g., info@yourstore.com)
- A non-personal Apple ID (credentials required for setup access)
- A non-personal Gmail account with two-factor authentication enabled
- Valid commercial registration (Arabic + English translation in one PDF file)
- Valid national ID of the commercial registration owner (clear, colored, front and back)
- Acceptance of app publishing policies

- Change the subscription type
- Switch between monthly or annual billing
After successful payment, you’ll receive a confirmation notification.

- The Renew Subscription button in the App Maker dashboard
- Automatic renewal via Wallet & Invoices
- Manual renewal after the subscription expires
You’ll receive a reminder 7 days before expiration.
Does renewal depend on app ownership?
Yes. If your app is still published under Salla’s developer accounts, you must transfer it to your own Apple and Google accounts before renewing. This ensures compliance with platform ownership policies and allows future updates and maintenance.
