Adding pricing to a product in Souq Eljomla
Follow these steps to create a pricing rule:
- From the Souq Eljomla homepage, open the Pricing tab.
- Click Add Pricing.
3. Enter a suitable title for the pricing rule.
4. Select the products or categories that this pricing rule will apply to.
5. Enter the minimum quantity a retailer must purchase at the base product price.
6. Add discount tiers based on purchase quantities by entering:
- The minimum order quantity for each tier
- The discount percentage from the final product price
7. If you want to add another pricing tier, click + Add Pricing.
Example
Letโs say you create a pricing rule that applies to all products in the Cosmetics category.
The pricing structure is set as follows:
- The minimum order quantity is 2 units.
- When a retailer purchases:
- 2โ4 units โ The product is calculated at the final product price (no discount).
- 5โ7 units โ 5% discount from the final product price.
- 8โ14 units โ 10% discount from the final product price.
- 15 units or more โ 12% discount from the final product price.
This structure encourages larger purchases by offering better discounts at higher quantities.

- The minimum number of pricing tiers you can create is one.
- You can add up to 10 pricing tiers per pricing rule.

- Wholesale pricing in Souq Eljomla is always applied to the final product price:
- If the product has a discounted price, the wholesale discount is applied to the discounted price.
- If the product does not have a discounted price, the wholesale discount is applied to the base price.
